DOCTOR ALLISON CAMERON
Basic Information;
Basic Information;
Character's Full Name: Dr. Allison Cameron
Nicknames: Cameron
Age && Birthday: Twenty-seven; April 12th
Occupation: Doctor
Appearance;
If there's one thing that everyone agrees upon when it comes to Dr. Cameron, it's that she has a certain childlike innocence when it comes to her appearance, ironically enough, contrasting her rather scarred past. While not void of any blemishes on her record, her face is void of any and all blemishes - she has a very natural beauty about her, and it is that innocence that in fact draws many people to her. Thus, she hesitates to glomp on a lot of make-up, allowing her bare essentials to do the trick; if she puts on any make-up at all, it is only to accent her natural features and almost appears if she isn't wearing any. Time and time again, people have told her that she doesn't need to wear any make-up to look beautiful, so, more often than not, Allison simply doesn't put any of that goop on her face.
Standing at 5' 6'' tall, Dr. Cameron is of a medium height, although she is very slim for that aforementioned height. Her mother had sometimes commented on it, wondering and worrying if her daughter had become anorexic, bulimic, or something of the sort. However, even though she's very petite, the young woman would never resort to starving herself to remain thin - being a doctor, she knows better than to resort to such means to achieve exterior beauty. If she wants to remain fit, she's going to do it the right way. Dr. Cameron is very concious of her weight, always very paranoid about what others think of her, and thus maintains her weight steadfastly between 115 -130 lbs. Right now, she's comfortably at 120 lbs.
Allison's hair is naturally a chestnut brown and is currently highlighted with a slightly darker shade of brown, and truly, she considers it her best feature. It is always well-maintained, volumous, retains a natural shine, and can essentially look fabulous no matter which way she wears it. Most of the time, she lets it rest naturally, falling just below her shoulders; however it usually ends up pulled back into a ponytail by the end of her work day. Her eyes, a bright shade of blue, accent her appearance nicely. And as far as her vision goes, her eyesight is not awfully poor, but she has worn glasses since she she was a child, having changed to contacts whenever she entered high school.
Personality;
It was no wonder why Dr. Allison Cameron went into the field of medicine, for she is an intelligent and diligent young woman. To say that she’s a studious girl would be the biggest underestimate this world has ever seen, as she is obsessed about expanding her knowledge, not just in the medical field, but in general and is attempting to cram as much information into her head as physically possible. She has spent hours upon hours adding the “final” touches to a piece of work, to only go over the whole thing again and basically re-write it. When exam season came around back in her college days, you would see her obsession taken to a whole new level. She would not be satisfied with making sure her own grades were decent, as she would often inflict her organization skills on her closest friends. She would write time-tables for them and attempt to get them to keep to them, though it was a rather fruitless task because most of them didn’t pay much attention to her until the last moment.
You would think that someone who was quite smart would be better at controlling her temper, but the truth is that is not the case. There are a few people who can actually get her temper to an all time high and when that time comes she has no problem inyellingvoicing her opinions. As she is a rather uptight young woman when it comes to her profession, concepts such as laziness grate on her and she does go out of her way to try and make people work harder. That's why, for the most part, she constantly becomes frustrated with Dr. House. It's not that he's lazy, but it's his means that he uses to achieve his end goal that she finds herself disagreeing with largely, yet, at the same time, being intrigued by.
Another quality that Allison possesses is the fact that she can get upset rather easily, no matter how hard she tries to not let it show. She can keep her feelings to herself a lot of the time because she doesn’t want to come off as a burden to those around her. When a particularly nasty comment is tossed her way, she tries her hardest to simply dismiss it, yet in fact waits until she's in closed quarters to really toil over it. This only really happens when the comments come from those close to her, as those are the comments that hurt the most, right? You don’t want to hear some negative words from a person you actually like and therefore she does take it too seriously. She doesn’t think it’s a good quality to have, but she is someone who takes things to heart a lot of the time.
Dr. Cameron is also stubborn (though not as stubborn as some people) and she will stand by her opinion if she truly believes in it. This quality can be pushed to the side a bit when it comes to her friends, as if an argument has taken place she is likely to be the one who attempts to fix things (but it still takes a good few days for her to cool off). That makes her the “bigger person” and it is a rather suiting title for her. Her friends do mean the world to her and she doesn’t mind stepping back for the greater good because she doesn’t want to see them uncomfortable because of her. Of course, this has been tested, as she will give someone the cold shoulder for at least a good few hours.

History;
The day that Allison Cameron was born, everything seemed to go wrong. Her mother had gone into labor a week early and had to be rushed to the closest hospital within a matter of minutes. Her father, rushing over to the hospital to witness Allison’s birth, slipped on a wet spot on the floor and broke his nose; he had to have it healed before he was allowed to visit his wife. Julianna didn’t want any pain medications, and halfway through the process ended up grabbing Christopher by the shirt and pulling him down to her face, screaming that she was going to kill him if she survived this. But thirteen hours and several threats later, everything turned around.
The couple now had their firstborn in their arms, a little girl who looked exactly like her mother, lying placidly and not making a sound. From that moment, Christopher and Julianna knew that Allison was going to be their baby girl, their little angel who graced their presence from heaven. For the first two years of her life, Allison grew up being doted upon by her parents, being told stories, being brought outside to play, and receiving anything that her little heart could ever want, although she never requested much. She was very close to her cousins, who were either her age or a year younger, and saw them almost on the daily basis, forming their own little circle before they even reached elementary school.
Then, when Allison was three years old, she received a younger sister. Because of the attention that she had received when she was younger, most thought that she would be jealous of the newborn babe, but in fact it was quite the opposite. Allison took it upon herself to be the young girl’s best friend, protecting her from some of the mischievous pranks that her cousins would pull. Over the years, the two of them became seemlessly joined at the hip, Allison’s younger sister becoming her second shadow. She had received her fair share of taunts for this and the way that she looked after her sister, but this was just the beginning of the protective wing that she would cast over all of the younger students who came her way.
Allison lived a decently normal childhood, save for being picked on for being the "goody-two-shoes", simultaneously being the girl that was interested in science and math while most girls were concerned with who was dating who that week. Granted, Allison was a beautiful young lady during her teenage years and her own fair share of boyfriends, but she was always career driven, knowing that she wanted to be a doctor since she took her first anatomy class and biology class her freshman year of high school. After graduating from high school (class rank of 5 out of a senior class of 450), she was accepted into medical school, her work ethic translating to her years spent there. College was also where she met her husband, whom she married on quite the romantic whim. She was all he had, for he was diagnosed with cancer which eventually metastasized to his brain and robbed him of his life; it had only lasted six months, and Dr. Cameron still remembers vividly that span of time. Allison received her medical license shortly thereafter and now works at the Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital as a member of Dr. Gregory House's team.

Your RP;
The dance that they were doing around each other was infuriating, yet reminiscent of old times, specifically when Edward and Bella had first met; Bella had desperately, albeit a bit hesitantly, wanted to know more about the mysterious persona that was Edward Cullen upon her arrival to Forks, yet he had been so initially closed off about who he was. There had been so many secrets, so many hidden truths that he, as well as Bella, had withheld, always managing to evade the issue when it came up in conversation. And now, three years later, the pair had not progressed in their handling of their thoughts and sentiments when around the other, although their conversations had undoubtedly become more awkward due to the extenuating circumstances of Bella's newfound marriage to Jacob Black. They had taken a few steps forward in discovering their identity as a pair, yet now, as they encountered each other in the meadow, seemed to have taken a giant leap backwards; it was if they knew everything about each other, yet were blindly fumbling around in the dark for even the slightest semblance of that knowledge, having momentarily lost it. And given the span of time which they were apart, the lapse of familiarity was assuredly plausible; given what had happened during that aforesaid span of time validated any and all awkward sentiments and the perpetuating game of cat and mouse that Bella and Edward were engaged in. For Bella's world had changed; for better or for worse was yet to be determined, but the inevitability about it all was that it was guaranteed to change again now that Edward had returned. Even if the only event was Bella's quickened heart rate due to his arrival, it was still enough of an alteration to the self-pity in which she had been wallowing as of late.
Not so surprisingly, Bella felt her heart rate accelerate as the subject of her lingering last name was once again broached; truthfully, it was her fault for correcting Edward when he called her Isabella Black, even though he was erroneous in his claim. If she hadn't said anything, just let him assume that her marriage to Jacob followed all the standards of a traditional marriage, then Edward probably wouldn't have given a second thought to the issue. I don't know that, her mind willed, a fresh wave of doubt crashing over her. She had absolutely no idea what was coursing through Edward's mind at the moment, and that void of knowledge truly unnerved and irked the young brunette. Yet, there was reasonably nothing in her power that she could do to acquire such information, for their conversation was already awkward enough and most certainly didn't need her prodding him to complement the situation. Yet she was inevitably curious - what if she did tell him the real reason that she hadn't changed her last name? Would he feel joyous, ecstatic even? Or would he, as per inference from their last meeting, tell her that it was finally time, time for her to move on to someone who actually possessed amorous sentiments for her? The latter would assuredly provide the closure that she needed, but that wasn't to say that was the answer that Bella truthfully yearned for, despite her obligations to her marriage. As she contemplated how to answer Edward's question, the unyielding desire to see the same look of longing on his face as she hoped didn't betray hers caused guilt to surge through her stomach. Why couldn't this ever be easy? Because, Bella thought bitterly, Just because. My life can never just be easy.
As a contemplative look flashed across her features, Bella chose her words carefully. "Because that's not me," she said, hurrying to finish her statement before Edward had any sort of chance to contemplate its meaning or offer his own reply. "And I know that sounds bad, but I don't mean it like you would think. Jacob is wonderful, but I don't want to lose my sense of identity just because I'm his wife. I've already heard the whispers in La Push - I'm apparently 'that girl that Jacob married'." Laughing darkly, Bella was bemused by her own explanation. While it was true that she wished to maintain her own identity, the reasoning for not changing her last name ran deeper than a silly whim of wanting to be recognized. It's because of you, Edward! her thoughts shouted at him, knowing fully well that the realms of her own mind was the only place that he couldn't reach her, although he had managed to infiltrate that sanctity the more that Bella began to miss him after his departure. Nevertheless, the closest that she was gong to come to admitting the truth to Edward at this point in time, perhaps ever, was from the safety of her thoughts. When you left, I was pushed back into the shadows, unnoticed once more, as I probably rightfully should be. No one really cared or noticed when I fell ill because I was so sick with distraught, mourning over you. The only person that really gave a damn was Charlie, but he's my father! When Jacob finally managed to draw me out of the slump that I was in, it was like the clouds had parted and the sun was finally able to shine back in. But even then, there was still a part of me missing. Don't you get it, Edward? That missing piece is you, and I hate myself for it, because I'm a married woman and shouldn't be harboring such feelings. You want to know the real reason I haven't changed my last name? It's because I'm still hopelessly in love with you and have kept a shred of hope alive that you would come back for me. Doesn't make much sense, though, now does it, because I still married Jacob. I guess it's all just impossible now.
Her voice far softer when she spoke again, despite the fact that she had been by no means yelling prior, Bella's eyes softened as she grimaced slightly, attempting to reveal as little emotion as possible. "I'll change it when I'm ready." There. She had painstakingly offered him an explanation, yet it wasn't the explanation that bothered her. Edward had continued to speak after his request to know why she still remained Bella Swan, and it was in his comparison of himself to Jacob that Bella found distress. You would have wanted me to what? she thought bitterly, the anger once again flashing before her eyes. If you were in that position, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. Bella really didn't want to be bitter about everything that had happened between her and Edward, or even more so, the events that had perpetuated between the three of them - her, Edward and Jacob. Yet, try as she might, the further that she dove into this prolonging conversation, the more bitterness she seemed to acquire. She found herself blaming anyone and everyone for all the regrets that she had, Edward and Jacob being the biggest culprits. There was no logic in any of her validations, but in her wrath, there was no room for any logical explanations, just mindless blame and fury. Bella hated Edward for having captured her heart and then leaving, hated Jacob for being there to sweep her off her feet, and she even silently cursed herself for allowing her heart to be so easily won; blinking back a mist in her eyes that suddenly had begun to form, Bella hated herself more than she had ever hated anyone before, and she despised herself for falling in love.
As he continued to speak about his own marriage, Bella shifted uncomfortably, crossing her arms over her chest; it was almost as if she was trying to shield herself from the pain and hurt that she knew his words would cause. They were beginning to enter dangerous territory now, breaching subjects that would undoubtedly, as least on Bella's part, wreak more heartache upon her already troubled persona. She felt an uninhibited desire to lash out at Edward, to criticize him for bringing up his own union when he had been the one to break her heart those couple years ago. Yet Bella didn't have the heart to do so, not now. She was already suffering mentally and didn't need a shouting match with Edward to top it all off. Allowing him to continue, she stood silently as he spoke again, his question about Jacob adopting a sudden, defensive tone that Bella hadn't heard in his voice since...well, since they had been together and Edward had been devoted to protecting her life, to loving her with every fiber of his being. She knew it was wrong to be excited at that, but Bella really couldn't help herself. Hope flashed fleetingly through her eyes as her heart leaped; she quickly, however, recollected herself before speaking again. "He does it because he cares too, Edward," Bella noted simply, watching Edward's face carefully for any hint of emotion that would betray his thoughts. "That may sound backwards to you and I may protest at the time, but he's got my best interest at heart, I know that."
In all honesty, Bella possessed conflicting sentiments about attending the meeting. While she knew that, despite the entire purpose of their gathering being protecting her, her voice wouldn't be heard, or rather it would be easily dismissed, Bella did want to know what was going on in the matter of her safety. She wasn't afraid, oddly enough, but she hated being kept in the dark about anything, and this was no exception. Jacob hadn't really told her much; even Alban, when he had initially explained the situation to her, had spared her many of the details. Did they think that she would be more well-protected in ignorance? Apparently so, which was why Bella had possessed a brief longing to in fact go to the meeting. However, that desire was outweighed by Jacob's urgings and Bella's own aversion to sitting in irritable silence all afternoon. With a sigh, she wondered how Jacob was reacting to the Cullens this very moment, knowing that Alice wouldn't be one to watch her tongue in the meeting. Would they even get anything accomplished or would the time spent simply be a battle of wills? Smirking silently to herself, Bella was torn from her thoughts by Edward's voice once more. "My plans don’t always go over so well when executed," she heard him say. "Don’t worry though please. My absence will in no way hinder your safety. I can get a very vivid replay of the events. My family has a wonderful memory. I’ll–we’ll never let anything happen to you." Biting her tongue from remarking on Edward's change from singular to plural at the end of his speech, Bella nodded and allowed herself to smile meagerly. "I don't doubt yours or your family's ability to protect me," she said, "You've already proven capable. But I'm actually really surprised that you're not at the meeting." Mentally contemplating Edward's absence at the gathering and his presence here at the meadow, Bella's eyes wavered in confusion. "It's not like you."
