To Cuddy it seemed she had two choices. One would be for her to sit and let her life pass her and hope that the family she wanted would eventually come her way. The second would be to take her life in her hands and make these changes happen. Cuddy being the strong minded independent woman she was decided to choose the second.
That’s how she found herself sat one afternoon in her office flicking through applications for potential sperm donors. This was one of a few options, Cuddy could adopt but her first choice would be to go through pregnancy herself. This idea had been dwelling in her mind for ages. She had everything anyone could ask for. She had a wonderful well paid job, nice home, good friends the only thing she was missing was a family someone to come home to after a hard days work.
Lisa had given up on the idea of finding her very own ‘knight in shining amour’ and instead decided if she couldn’t have that, she would love to share her life with a child. A person she could love and watch grow. Someone who depended on her and she would love that person more than life itself.
She sighed as she flicked through another application; the only problem was choosing a suitable person to have half the genetic DNA of her child. She most certainly didn’t want her child inheriting some illness that the biological father might be carrying. Cuddy sighed again louder this time and ran her hands through her long brown hair as she gazed at the papers those two little creases appearing on her forehead again. This was harder than she thought how could she choose someone from bits of information on a piece of paper?
Cuddy placed the document she was holding in the middle; she now had three groups, possible donors, maybe donors, never in a thousand years donors. At least she thought optimistically the possible donors pile was small so she didn’t have a lot of people to think over. She sipped at her cup of coffee and stared tiredly at the papers, it may seem like a lot of hassle now she thought but she knew she wouldn’t regret it when she had a beautiful child in her arms that was hers, all hers.
She pushed the papers to one side deciding to worry about it tonight and instead started work on signing forms.

;;((William Anderson));; After two weeks of vacations, William was back to new Jersey, normally people enjoyed the time they spent with their family but to him it wasn't exactly like that, they were warm and nice people but the fact he had discarded their wishes and went to major in Medicine was still overing them and it created a somewhat tense atmosphere. His grandfather hardly talked to him, he just couldn't believe he had renounced his position as a future duke just to follow a stupid dream, a dream that he had no need to pursue since he had enough money to buy whatever he wanted for the rest of his life, but to Will it wasn't that simple, he just couldn't see himself waisting his life in parties and events with the Scotland high Society, there was more out there, there were things he wanted to see and experience and even though it had been difficult in the beginning, it all turned out better than he could ever imagine.
"Could you grab me Mr. Parker and Mrs. Santos files please" he asked the nurse as he walked over to the counter at the entrance and placed his leather bag on it with a soft smile across his lips. While waiting he looked around and grinned gently, it was good to be back, he really couldn't stand too much time out of this environment, this was his life and one he enjoyed a lot. The rush, the problems he encountered every day and finally, the figuring out the diagnostic in the end, that had been what pulled him so much towards Medicine. Since the first class in Oxford he knew that was what he was meant to be, he easily learned what the teachers taught him and after graduating his fame and reputation as an amazing Doctor became to increase, there was really no chance he would be called a couple of years ago to work under Doctor Gregory House if it wasn't by his great work.
"Thank you love" he claimed with a wink to the nurse before making his way to the third floor, he was paying Cuddy a visit before changing and starting his work, he was thirteen minutes earlier for that exact reason, he was curious to know how things were going since the last time he stepped inside Princeton-Plainsboro Hospital. *knock knock* He hit the door gently with his slightly closed fist even though he was able to see the women and before she was able to reply, he pushed it open "Good afternoon Doctor Cuddy" he claimed with a rather amused smile while making his way to one of the armchairs in front of her desk "How has my favorite dean of Hospital been?" he asked with a smirk before sitting drown and crossing his legs, his icy blue eyes locked on hers as his head tilted slightly to the left.
